Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, October 23,1888. Studied with Kenyon Cox and Birge Harrison. Settled in Woodstock New York as a landscape painter, his favorite theme being New York mountainous snow scenes. He exhibited frequently at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. He was also a member of the Salamagundi Club. Cochran died in 1935.
