Mark passionately paints in the tradition of the Impressionists. He seeks to portray beauty and emotion in his paintings by capturing the motion of the moment--people walking the snowy streets of the City with patriotic flags flowing... families playing at the beach... boats reflecting in a calm harbor
While painting, Mark uses all of his senses to go beyond the obvious. His skill can be seen in his colorful, atmospheric and light-filled compositions. To him, success starts by choosing the right design. He believes success is fully realized when he captures feelings that are important to him such as serenity, optimism, wonder, and joy.

Mark was born on Long Island in 1956. Early on, he was taught to draw by his mother, Elizabeth Daly and by Woodhull Young, a marine painter and curator of the Vanderbilt Museum. Since 2007, Mark has been blessed to be mentored by CW Mundy, a master artist.
Always striving to improve, Mark travels worldwide to paint directly from nature. His positive energy and creativity seem to grow with each new journey.
