Keith is amazingly diverse, with styles that range from classical realism, impressionism, pointillism and plein air – always painted with his recognizable “Voice” even in these divergent styles. He often puts surprises and symbols in his work such as a Kewpie doll.
"The Kewpie symbolizes the fresh mind of a child, the fearless uninhibited expression of pure delight in the present moment. It is play, spontaneous dancing, the inner child unfettered by the past and future, the real treasure given to us in moments of grace in this strange, mysterious and beautiful carnival of life."
