Lyuba Titovets is a Russian-born artist, renowned for her evocative still-life and figurative paintings that reflect the rich traditions of Russian folk art and history. Born and educated in St. Petersburg, Russia, she began private art lessons at the age of five and later earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from St. Petersburg State University. During her time in Russia, Lyuba's accomplishments included teaching art, illustrating books, and serving as the chief designer for the theater "Mask." She also worked as an art historian in the newly established Department of History of Culture at St. Petersburg State Pedagogical University.
In 1992, Lyuba, along with her husband, fellow artist Aleksander Titovets, emigrated to the United States, settling in El Paso, Texas, where they continue to pursue their artistic endeavors. Her work is characterized by a deep connection to her cultural heritage, often inspired by Russian history and personal reminiscences. Lyuba's paintings have garnered numerous awards and are part of collections worldwide, including the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C.
