Artist Statements:

"The phenomena of light and color in the landscape intrigue me. I paint those elements that evoke a sense of elation and wonder of this incredible world.  Conveying those sensations to the viewer is my goal and brings tremendous joy into my life."

"I find inspiration in the direct experience of plein-air painting.  Whether painting landscapes or still lives, only the personal experience communicates the true essence of the color, form, atmosphere and light of a specific place."
