Ernest Moulines (1870–1942) was a French painter born in Béziers who spent the majority of his life in Paris. In Paris, he developed friendships with notable artists such as Claude-Émile Schuffenecker, Élisée Maclet, and Edgar Degas. Moulines and Degas traveled together extensively, including visits to Venice, which influenced Moulines' work. His paintings often depict scenes from Venice, the banks of the Seine, fishermen, and still lifes.
