Phil Foster was born in 1915.  He was an artist and beloved art professor at the University of Cincinnati's DAAP program for 38 years.

Studied at the Art Academy of Cincinnati with  Carl Zimmerman, Frank Myers, John Weis, Meyer Abel, Walter Siple, Arthur Helwig and Herman Wessel.

He exhibited widely for 60 years and juried shows throughout the Midwest.
