Elizabeth Alke (American, 1877-1938) was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1877. She was a well known painter of landscapes, flowers, and still lifes.  She exhibited her work widely in the East and in Chicago.  She died in New Richmond, Ohio in 1938.

With T. S. Noble, Caroline Lord, and Cincinnati Art Academy (first woman to win Ingalls scholarship)

Exhibited

Widely in the East and at Chicago; Nat. Assn. Women Painters and Sculptors (honorable mention 1928, mbr.)
